Jason Kokrak wins the Houston Open using a Superstroke Pistol GT 1.0

Kokrak’s came from behind for a 2-shot win, finishing at -10, 270 for the event, making a total of 3 wins on the PGA Tour in the last thirteen months. Four of the top five finishers chose to play SuperStroke grips.  

Kokrak earned this Tour victory by making four consecutive birdie putts on holes 13-16, highlighted by a 25-foot birdie putt on the toughest hole (14th) at Memorial Park. Kokrak’s drastic improvement with his putter kept him in contention, even after a falling to nine strokes off the lead after the second round. This year, Kokrak is currently ranked 10th in the Strokes Gained putting stat, after ranking outside the top 100 in each of the previous six seasons.
